Hey John, I guess there aren't many Italians around here! :) I love it, it seems it should appear over a wine tasting area in a vineyard, was this done for a customer?

Nope -  just done for the display at the Craft Village.  I did do one for a customer with their name instead of Welcome.

I like it too John.   There are a few winery areas in the states including a couple at least here in KS.   Post it on Etsy or Facebook Market and I'll bet you'll get more requests than you want to do.

BTW, I noticed the price on those butcherblock countertops has gone up thanks to inflation and the pandemic.   Hopefully you've done as I have and bought a few while they were on sale to stock up for future projects.  I've been using them as wheeled kitchen island and small table tops, CNC'd to a rounded square and contoured bottom to reduce weight and eliminate sharpish corners.  They certainly are a good source for thick material.

Got it on Etsy.  Have to work on Facebook Market and the Website yet.  Got to kick the IT department in the pants.  Wood prices have really gone up and not come back down.  I get the rounds in different sizes premade from Menards.  I just checked the butcherblock countertops.  What I used to pay $88 for a 48 x 25 is now $119.  Lowes has the 48x30 for around $160.  Can't afford to make many mistakes using those - but they do cut nice.  I have a few left from before so haven't paid much attention.  I've been mostly using 1 and 5/4 x 12 x 48 finger jointed boards.  If I order 100-150 of them at a time thru the Menards buyer in HQ I get a "decent" price and free shipping from the mill to the store.   Question is - at what point do people quit buying when prices keep going up.  Holiday orders are down about 30% from  last year.  Good thing I don't depend on the money.  Leaves more time for deer hunting.
