    Thanks. I need a lot of help with that type of turning. I never do finials or that kind of turning. The barrels are my favorite too. They are Christmas presents for her work. I use the cork with 3/8” dowel. Same thing I use for home, just seem to like them better.

    Gotta say. "I like them all" but the barrels are particularly nice. Something about parallel lines on a hollow cylindrical container with a bulging center, longer than it is wide?

     

    Now, how about turning a few dozen Little Chap figurines?  Complete with cocked chapeau? :cowboy:
