September 30, 20223 yr Popular Post So it doens't take much to impress me sometimes and I'm good with it . Was trimming limbs yesterday and noticed some nice looking figure on one of the cut ends. It was busted but I set it and a few other pieces off to the side to look at closer today. I took my little gerber saw and cut past the split to see what I had. I think it's pretty sweet looking. Not sure what I'll do with it but we're gonna put it somewhere and let it dry out this winter. I didn't measure it but probably have about 3.5 feet of that limb before it branches off.
September 30, 20223 yr Popular Post I'm always amazed with the treasures that are found in the different pieces of wood. I found this in a 10" piece of 2"x4" laying on the floor at work one day. Haven't a clue what species of wood it is. Edited September 30, 20223 yr by HandyDan

For a fella that does medium to small projects on occasion it pays to keep an eye out.
