 I had an old turning of Spalted Apple. It wasn’t solid enough to turn.  I gave up and put it aside about a year ago. I’d look at it from time to time and did get another idea that may work if it stayed together. Part was off center and I decided To use that as a feature (yellow liner) Enough of it stayed together to make an unusual & beautiful ornament.
