June 22, 20224 yr Popular Post ' ' When we moved here 22 years ago one of the extention table locks disappeared and I had a few minutes ago and took the other one off and made another like it.. It's about 1/16" thick metal and that took about five minutes to draw around the one I have and to scroll saw it out so now we can take the dining table in to the bedroom with out it opening up in the hall way when needed. And the 1 x 42" belt- disk sander with a worn out 220 grit knife sharpening belt made the edges as smooth as a babies behind so now I am ready to clear off more of my honey do things off her list of her starting those notes 22 years ago...Boy did I get a slap on my back for that.... If the belts are still not apart I never throw any away and sometimes I do need to glue up some of them to reuse!.
June 22, 20224 yr Nice! Never thought to cut metal on the jig saw. Now about taking the dining table into the bedroom. I have ??????????
June 23, 20224 yr Like Dan, I would not have thought about cutting metal on the scroll saw. Do they make metal cutting blades for this? Great job with it Jess.
June 23, 20224 yr Author I use Olson metal cutting blades from woodenteddybear.com They do get hot so take it kinda slow Not talking about the kitchen table in the bedroom. You'll have to figure it out your self!
