May 25, 20223 yr Popular Post I have been working in wood for more than 20 years. My biggest project was completely restoring an 18 foot Chris Craft runabout. 3 years of part time agony having never done boat building before. I have since sold the boat due to illness but now back in the garage doing small projects as I am relegated to a power chair as I can't stand for more than 30 seconds ! Not a fun retirement.
May 25, 20223 yr Welcome aboard Mike, glad to have you here. Chris Craft boats just came up in our conversation a couple weeks ago (maybe that's how you found us?); we would love to see some pics of that project, as well as pics of your current projects - done or in progress, we like 'em all.
May 25, 20223 yr Welcome to The Patriot Woodworker Mike. Always room for one more around the virtual workbench. As Cal mentioned, would love to see pictures of your Chris Craft. Those boats are floating wood art. Sorry to hear of your physical challenges, but great to know your overcoming through woodshop time. Great therapy. Hope to see and hear more about what you're accomplishing.
May 25, 20223 yr Welcome aboard. Hope we can be a place you will like to feel warm and fuzzy , well that may be too far but comfortable will work
