Great list. I just ordered 2 of everything.  Didn't see pencils listed but I ordered 100 of those just in case. Those should last a month.

Shop tools list is much longer when placed in writing, so I am afraid to do that. They know I have a lot out there just not how much.

You'll find a few behind your ears and under your workbench.  Don't forget, you need .3mm, .5mm, .7mm, H,  HB, B , 2B, 3B, 4B,5B, 6B, 7B, 8B, 2H,3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, a few carpenter's pencils, some white ones for walnut, and probably a few more types.

 

Yesterday, we sorted thru a late club member's hand tools and portable power tools to get them ready to sell.   When we discussed this at the steering team's Zoom meeting, one of the guys went on and on about how he had assigned a relative to inherit every one of his tools when he dies.  I'm like, "Man, shut up, my wife is sitting next to me."    I think he was spurred on to do this when he spent weeks going thru a mutual friend's shop when that friend ended up going to a retirement home.   He had 94 hammers, no two of which were alike.  A few years ago, the friend did some work for me while I waited.  When he was done, he said something like, "I think we need to put a washer on here, I wonder where they are."   

I said, "in this box next to me that says, 'Washers'?"      That pretty much describes the chaos that was his two story shop.

"...and to my good friend Dave, I leave my entire collection of screws with Phillips heads.  Clark gets all the Star drive screws.  Aaron gets all the slotted screws (sorry dude).  and lastly, Frank gets all my nails...."

 

Dave, Clark, Aaron, and Frank loaded all their stuff up and all headed for the dump/metal recycling center.

I'm honored and thankful. I assume they are already sorted by size and length? Are they true Phillips and not Posi-drive? Please don't think me ungrateful nor selfish, but I had hoped for the Star drives instead of the Phillips.
