With the last tools out of the Winter Shop (the basement) and in the Summer Shop (the barn) I built SWMBO the soil screener she's being asking for. It's large enough to put the wheel barrow under so she can screen into it. Another pallet wood project.

Pretty cool Kevin. Are you putting wheels on one it to move it around? What did you use for your screen?

I like it.  You can also use it to sift your sawdust for errant lost tools.

I was thinking of a horizontal bottom 2 x 4 then I could use to hook my 2 wheeler on to move it. I have that, I don't have wheels big enough to drag it around over a garden

Perhaps. Always good to have some in the vault in case an emergency arises. Like Green Stamps, redeem them for a tool of your choice.

I have to wonder how many remember (or know what they are) those trading stamps. It really gives away your age.

I remember the books, I being handed the stamp as a child, and using a sponge to stick them in the books, but nothing about exchanging the books.

In my case, there are multiple contributing factors beside the old trading stamps books that give it away.

That was my "job" too for one of my grandmothers. IIRC she redeemed for a full serving set for 8, actual silverware; did that on more than one occasion. She had a set; my parents had a set; I inherited her set. It has to be over 65 y/o. PS she also redeemed for mixer sets too. IDK what else.

 

My wife & I redeemed several books too early on in our marriage for various household items.
