April 9, 20224 yr Popular Post With the last tools out of the Winter Shop (the basement) and in the Summer Shop (the barn) I built SWMBO the soil screener she's being asking for. It's large enough to put the wheel barrow under so she can screen into it. Another pallet wood project.
April 10, 20224 yr Popular Post Pretty cool Kevin. Are you putting wheels on one it to move it around? What did you use for your screen?
April 10, 20224 yr Popular Post I like it. You can also use it to sift your sawdust for errant lost tools.

April 16, 20224 yr I have to wonder how many remember (or know what they are) those trading stamps. It really gives away your age.
April 16, 20224 yr Author I remember the books, I being handed the stamp as a child, and using a sponge to stick them in the books, but nothing about exchanging the books.

In my case, there are multiple contributing factors beside the old trading stamps books that give it away. 8 hours ago, frenchwwr said: I remember the books, I being handed the stamp as a child, and using a sponge to stick them in the books, but nothing about exchanging the books. That was my "job" too for one of my grandmothers. IIRC she redeemed for a full serving set for 8, actual silverware; did that on more than one occasion. She had a set; my parents had a set; I inherited her set. It has to be over 65 y/o. PS she also redeemed for mixer sets too. IDK what else. My wife & I redeemed several books too early on in our marriage for various household items.
