December 18, 20214 yr Popular Post I make ornaments and give them to friends and family each year. This year I decided to do Gnomes. I used the Amsterdam red ink for the roofs and faux fur from the craft store for the beards. Made 36 of the little guys. Already gave a few away and put some on my tree.
December 18, 20214 yr Those gnomes are just darned cute, Dan. I'll bet the recipients were very happy to receive them.
December 18, 20214 yr They are cute. I had watched a video on turning them thinking I may try a few. Still thinking.......
December 18, 20214 yr Dan great job as usual. I got the fur to do some and just lost interest in the project, maybe next year.
December 18, 20214 yr Author Thanks for the great replies. Had our family Christmas party today and everyone loved them.

Turned out to be relatively easy. Cut the faux fur patches being careful of the nap and glued them on with some tacky glue from the craft store. Stuck solid to the poly finish that I applied first.
December 18, 20214 yr Popular Post Outstanding! I am always impressed when you do your annual Christmas turnings!
December 19, 20214 yr Popular Post Excellent! Yet another over the top idea turned to happiness. Always amazing how your creative talents result in the perfect surprise gift each year. Thanks for sharing Dan.
December 19, 20214 yr Popular Post Showed em to the Missus, she wants to know why I don’t make them. Told her they were away off in my future, yet. As you can tell by this conversation, they are well thought of in this house.
