"I been making sawdust since right after I got out of high school and I don't work with walnut wood for a good reason."

And what would that be, Jesse?

Gene this is about the only wood that reacts with my well being! The rest of the saw dust is about the same as being in those sand storms in the Lubbock area in my middle life. To me a sandstorm is when you can't see the white line in the middle of the road and back then there was not a window made that could stop the sand from building up on the window ledge and falling off on the floor before the wind died down so we could try to clear out our eyes so we could see again. This was the reason my folks moved to California because of the dust bowl happening in the forties and fifties.

Pecan wood might react the same as walnut but a lot of our trees are pecan after we moved here but I sure won't even trim around the bottoms of the pecans. Wife jumps my bones about the low branches but my answer is to stay clear of them!
