Yes, I warm up my coffee every few minutes it seems like. I do believe this microwave came in to this world about the same time as I did!!!!

I also zap small pieces of wood that has critter holes before I use it for wood working..  It's easy to tell if it is working for the aroma in the room changes before the microwave shuts off!

For sure, one of the things I considered and passed on (and now regret) is plumbing in the shop. Especially the water closet, but a sink would be a really welcomed addition.

The water closet is an easy retrofit.  Especially out where you live.

I thought about that, but it's just as easy to walk out on the porch. I will admit, the wind is occasionally a bit of a problem with my current setup.

To keep my coffee hot I use a mug warmer, when I had a 20 oz mug I used a candle warmer.

Right in the middle of those cabinets. Or maybe right over those 4 doors on that cabinet.

Back before these TV shows started showing macho idiots with the sledge hammers ruining good cabinets people remolding in our areas would set things that they were removing out of their houses for newer things and would take those things out and set them on the curb and people like me that couldn't afford anything would stop and load those things up. This is where the sink and formica counter top came from and another house the cabinets were gotten and use with the sink and top counter...

Almost every thing taken out of remolding homes is good enough to be used somewhere.

Jesse, what caught my eye was that cycle and all those draw knives. Quite a collection !

I spent 5 minutes looking for that cycle, before I noticed the sickle! :WonderScratch:

I did too but hey my spelling is usually much worse than that. Actually I was going to say something but I had so many cycles and cicles and sicles and spell check didn't help and I figured Al might have been a teacher in his younger days and I am told that when I turned 8 years old they taught me how to wave by-by.

commode? look way down yonder towards the back side72263225_IMG_9014commodedownyonder.JPG.9fa12b4e036e533c81eabb77acf38063.JPG

And you can also see the side of the microwave! they are the same distance in the picture. I put all the plumbing in before I poured the concrete but didn't think I would hook up anything until we got moved but the trip from old house to new is 250 miles so as soon as I got some metal up I had a place to hide and pee through the plumbing in the hole in the floor.

We knew for about 20 years we would sell the go-cart track and mini golf amusement so I decided I wanted to buy water front property that was run down and not being used which would be bargains and after we got moved I would tear down the old and build new and either rent or sell and carry the papers. I had already knew renters would not suit me as much as carrying the papers for renters mostly destroy instead of taking care of things as if they would own the property. I made wife sell her coupe de ville for another pickup so we both could pull trailers plus load the pickups also..As it was we both made about 20 trips each before we got it all down here...In the 20 years before we moved I watched house building material sales stuff and when there

was a sale or auction I bought almost everything it would take to build a house and shop big enough to last the rest of my life...

Well every thing went as planned except when it come time to, oh yea, we had bought 7 water front properties on this lake in good locations but all were run down but three never had been built on, so I knew all would end up new . Every thing almost went as planned except when it come time to start building new I decided I would work in the new shop doing what I liked best and that was wood working..This was my fourth shop since about 1960 and the extra room said this is what I worked for all my life so I gonna enjoy.

It took about the last 20 years to sell all the land and we only live on two of the properties.

By the way, I don't like drawers in my shop and have just a few. For some strange reason I can't find anything that is hidden from sight. And all my shop floors were concrete and all have about the same amount of saw dust as I best remember. I been making sawdust since right after I got out of high school and I don't work with walnut wood for a good reason.
