And I needed some 3 1/2" clock inserts and they listed from 28  to 38 dollars for the 3 1/2" like I use.. 

Well at 40 per cent off does sound good.

  I usually buy the 3 1/2" from The Wooden Teddy Bear which is a wood working site for patterns and things. Theirs sells

for 7.25 and if you buy 5 or more are 7.00. They look exactly the same and are quarts movements..

 

It does pay to shop around and I know folks who will buy the higher priced things for they have a wierd mind but just bringing this little thing out

 

I also have this Timesavers catalog which has the same 3 1/2" clock inserts for 9.75 to 11.00 each in their 2019-2021 catalog. All three places I think are the same brand...

 

I forgot to mention if a person is gonna need some movements for a clock then the clock insert is complete, just drill a 3" hole for the 3 1/2" size and thats all there is to it. No hands or lens or nothing...I did get a shipment one time and the screw was missing but they are an every day size.
