November 14, 20214 yr Popular Post Fewer hightly stressed moving parts. Less to go wrong. Cheap like 800 dollars cheaper And I have seen worn out festool dominos. They do wear.
November 14, 20214 yr Cliff, would you clarify for me about dominoes wearing? Do they not glue into the mortises? I figured the glue would hold them as tightly as biscuits or dowels. Please help me, I think I am lost. Thank you.
November 14, 20214 yr Not speaking for Cliff, but when he said Dominoes are wearing he might have been referring to the tool instead of the tenons. Just thinking out loud......
November 14, 20214 yr Pretty cool; appears to be made very well, easy user set-up and way more budget friendly. Thanks Cliff
November 15, 20214 yr With Christmas coming, and relatives asking me for ideas, I looked into the jig. apparently it is only sold by United Clamps, or on ebay. It is on back order on ebay
November 15, 20214 yr I've seen this advertised on facebook for $59.00 Do I trust the seller ? No sir! My question, since I couldn't hear the video, will a Bosch 1617 router fit in it?

My question, since I couldn't hear the video, will a Bosch 1617 router fit in it? I don't think so Al but can't say 100% for sure. I think right now it was only guaranteed to fit the Makita unless the Bosch body diameter is the same. He did say the maker was working on other options for additional routers such as the Dewalt. As for the FB offer, I think Clint Eastwood would ask, "do you feel lucky?"
November 15, 20214 yr Al from what I read on Ebay, right now the Makita is the only router that will work with it, and they think it will take Dewalt routers soon. They stated that it would not take Bosch routers as of now.
November 16, 20214 yr If it wasn't so darned expensive, I'd consider the Pantorouter set up. That's more than I spent for my UniSaw https://www.pantorouter.com/shop/panto-package-all-in I know I could make my own as Matthias Wandel originally posted, but ...

November 21, 20214 yr Thanks, Cliff. That is what Fred had deducted but I don't know anything about one of these except what I see on sites and in the catalogues. Out of my price range, but I really appreciate the warning.
November 23, 20214 yr Somebody really had their thinking cap on, but is this really a lot different in function than my Mortise Pal.

November 23, 20214 yr Popular Post Heck, I wouldn't want that light without the matching tripod and clamp thingy.......for another $300+.

Shucks no, unless of course it includes the sustainer; then it's a very tempting deal.
