Finally got Mrs. Boss's lidded bowl completed.  Took lots of time, interruptions along the way, but worthwhile project all said and done.

 

Cocobolo, purpleheart and mahogany.  Patterned after the Queen in a chess set for the Queen. ...I know way too mushy.  

 

You may notice some discoloration around the finial on the lid.  It will turn purple in a day or two after the fresh cuts heal. 

 

Powersand to 320 and finished with Acks.
