See story below for the Chaplain's funeral that was held on September 29, 2021 A horse-drawn caisson leads the body of Father Emil Kapaun to the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in downtown Wichita on Wednesday afternoon. Kapaun, a Medal of Honor recipient, died in a North Korean prisoner of war camp in 1951. His remains were identified earlier this year and today he was finally laid to rest.
