August 24, 20214 yr It was taken when we changed from a one oven kitchen to a double oven kitchen...maybe a big deal back then?? What I want you guys to do is look this picture over and tell me what I didn't do. And no, its not me making the stained glass pictures!
August 24, 20214 yr There is evidence of a pod person on the counter. Invasion of the Body Coffee Snatchers... You forgot to close the cabinet door. That would land you in hot water with Mrs. 40. .40
August 25, 20214 yr I think Smitty hit it. But it does look like the hinges on upper do not match others.
August 25, 20214 yr Probably the camera angle, but it appears that you have some interference between the cabinetry and ovens. Was the single oven in this same location? Now, 15 years into it, how does Mrs. Jess like the double ovens. Would she do it over again?
August 27, 20214 yr Author Oh yes Cal she cooks with both ovens, she loves them. Same general location and it is the same species of wood only I have a few more coats of clear on those doors compared to what the workers did building a new house...Which was not much of a finish on anything. Mostly for years every garage sale had their old hinges and pulls and handles 25 cents each or a whole sack of things was 50 cents or a dollar so I bought every thing like that and now have many many to choose from. No Blums and I have never installed one even if I had some, don't like them. I still see no need for people to rip out and replace just because some person says thats the thing to do. Purple and green is out and now the colors have changed so folks you have to change.... Wife wanted double ovens and thats what she got and frames for her stained glass so she was the one to be pleased. I was just wondering for no one has ever mentioned things being a mismatch.
