These old pictures got me to thinking

Featured Replies

I just realized I use to use way too much color.  These were turned on the hand crank ornamental mill and the regular lathe.

These have given me the urge to crank up those machines again, get the spider webs off and turn a few round

things for the next project. I like more things involved than just turning so don't know when maw will go easy on my doings for her things are still sitting there getting impatient.

Me building that small turnings thingy with the skate wheels was for my next project but its kinda involves lots of fancy things so I might not be up to it just yet?????

I don't spend a lot of time on the lathe but I'm fixin to make a few thin turnings and was the reason for making that thing with the skate wheels here while back..

There is still lots of red stains and dyes from the fifties and sixties I'm still working off of.

See the flaws on the larger tea pot? Things like that use to ruin my day and weeks sometimes but now things like this is just me adding character to my wood working!!!
