June 29, 20214 yr Popular Post I saw Small Patch's jig for making picture frame joints. So I thought I'd show the one I have used for more than 30 years. It is probably a common jig that many have come up with. I used plexiglass to enable me to see where I am when I set it up and when I cut the corners. I cut a long thin piece the exact size to make the spline to go in the corner cut. Kinda strange posting the second picture........no matter what I did, it came out upside down, even flipped it?????
