I just wanted to send out a big thank you to Cal for stopping by my neck of the woods on his recent road trip to hand off his lathe copy machine.  He was part of a thread I had started inquiring about these things and as he had one he wasn't using he gifted it to me to help get my little shop going.  Thanks Cal, was good talking to you and your wife.  Hope your trip was good my friend.

You are quite welcome Brad, and I hope you get some good service out of the tool.

We did have a great trip and it is always icing on the cake to meet up with someone that we've "spoken" with before that shares our interests.

 

And too, I had a drill press in the truck that Gunny had gifted to our son & Fred had just sent him a copy of Flexner's finishing book.  As I see it, I still have some paying forward to do!

Nice!  Love hearing of these kind gestures among my fellow woodworkers.
