The dreaded Monday Morning has rolled around here, again....Spent too much time on Sunday, working from a stepladder...Today I am hurting, and crampy....

So..What ya all got planned for this week, once we get Monday the heck out of Dodge?

Got a Gazebo to get finished up....all ladder work, so it will NOT happen today ( not enough Guinness in the icebox..)  Intend to just sit back on my "foundation"  today...

just got the truck packed for tomorrow's trip to the pistol range.  have four 8 foot walls to build, and also repair some other walls that have been shot or abused.

should be several hours of "fun" outside tomorrow.

Mowed, rototilled the garden, planted some hardy stuff, got a couple of coats of poly on the little mulberry bowl. Need to drag out the Tormek and go at some of the kitchen knives before some bruises themselves.

Just read an article that claimed Honda, Toyota and Lincoln (can you believe that about Lincoln?) were three of the 10 most reliable vehicles on the road.  Ahem..Dodge wasn't mentioned. Ram was up there, though.

Been "de-wiring" the shop building this Monday. Everything but the lighting circuit is now de-wired. All the outlets were located in the room I had to demolish. They're long gone and the wiring shut off at the main box. I just needed to pull the wiring and get rid of the conduit.

Not much today . Spent the afternoon helping move a friends stuff to storage , came home and took me three hours to feel human again.

Hope tomorrow proves more shop oriented after going to vote.

Mowed the lawn for the 4th time this year.  Going to be a weekly thing.  Ugh!  Turned off Dish TV, using Roku and it's very different from traditional programming. Totally lost as of now.  Also, got most of the east end of the house broken mortar chisled.  Ready for tucking.  Sprayed some Roundup on some of the vine around the borders of the yard.  Made a neighbor unhappy.  Oh well.  Hope to have the other end of the house cleaned out this week and tucked.  Getting ready for that masonry primer.  Shock the neighborhood.  :cowboy:

I was able to mow yesterday, and sold our boat....this is a 12' Jon boat I bought for the pond and never used.  I bought to help get all the Koi out of the pond when we moved here but it wasn't needed; been sitting in the barn since then so it was time for it to go.

Spent 9 hours with Patti on Saturday removing plaster & lath from the kitchen ceiling & walls, bagging the plaster & hauling to the dumpster. Could only fill the cans (14) just under half full, that was pretty much all I could lift. Ceiling had the original plaster covered with cement board and two layers of plaster covering that. Only advantage there was I was able to carry 90% of it out in 2x2 pieces. I have left to do a 5'x7' tongue & groove ceiling that that was a porch, just ran out of energy Saturday, I'll do it today. Patti said, based on all the home improvement shows we should have had this room completed 9 times:ROFL:.

Took Sunday off and cut the grass yesterday.

Glad to have that miserable phase done, I'm sure.  But a definite improvement on the horizon, and an opportunity to upgrade the lighting too.

Great day for me!   Had a 2 year follow up appt with the "brain surgeon" that removed my pituitary tumor.  He said all my lab tests and MRI looked good and that he thought he'd gotten every last bit of the tumor as it had not come back.  He pronounced me "cured" of my very rare medical condition.  Come back in two years just to see if anything has changed.:Cheer:

Spent the last two days cleaning up the yard. Now trying to find just ONE muscle that doesn't hurt! :(

That is great news Keith!

Wires gone. Conduit removed. Ladder work is over...for now. Seriously considering surface mounted outlets every where in the new shop. Planning to run the Romex through the studs and, the wall covering will be plywood. Gonna take some strategery. One thing is certain. There'll be no wiring above or below 40" off the floor. I may be wiring outlets after the bottom course of plywood. Efficient work flow has never been my strong suit. :BangingHead:

That's awesome, Keith!
