Poly puck

Featured Replies

What happens when you leave a little bit of poly in a container that you thought was pretty air-tight, but apparently wasn't.   Poly 'cures' by absorption and reaction with oxygen.   Inside this little puck, it is still a bit of a gel because the outside cured and reduced the flow of oxygen in.   Also why drips and runs stay gummy much longer than a thin layer around them.

Looks like some of my granny's lye soap.  That was serious stuff...take the first layer of skin along with the dirt.
