February 25, 20215 yr I know this was brought up in an earlier thread (I think), but it looks like South Bend (the venerable lathe company) has introduced a line of woodworking tools. Or the got bought out and the name is being licensed...or some other kind of mumbo jumbo. In any case It seems strange to me someone would introduce a line of woodworking tools since our hobby isn't the most popular in the world and several of the names have went belly up. I can't help but wish them the best, but sometimes I wonder about how such decisions are made. Woodshop News (where I saw the announcement) calls them "high end tools".
