January 22, 20215 yr Popular Post I was about to toss a 4 foot piece of pine 2X2 because it had a big knot about every foot. I noticed how unique the grain was around the knots. I cut out the knots and ripped the pieces in quarters to use the grain in a neat way. You can see where the knot were located (that is where I put the Yellow Hart.) I glued in a piece of Yellow Hart and the wood grain quarter pieces to radiate from the center. I was able to use 3 of the slices to make 3 Christmas ornaments. The circular one is about 1" in Dia. January 23, 20215 yr Author Popular Post When I showed these to my daughter, I got a surprise. "Dad, those are really beautiful earrings" I thought they were a bit large, but what do I know. So now I may get into the earring production too.
