New (to me) hand tool magazine

Looking through the Lee Valley web site, I came across this.  Seems to be a new magazine specializing in hand tools and their use.  They have issues 1 and 2 on the web site, but I don't know if a subscription is available.  If a subscription is wanted, you might have to buy the first issue from LV and then contact the publisher.  I just did a screenshot, so there is some extra garbage in the picture from my desk top.

I should have read the description on Lee Valley closer.  Apparently it is available in single issues only, not by subscription.

That is really cool Tom! Thanks for the heads up. Subscription or not, a magazine on hand tools and the hand craft is a great thing!

just ordered issue 1 and 3, 2 was sold out. Looks like a nice publication on the subject Tom, thanks again for the heads up! I am currently a subscriber too Mortise and Tenon, and love them very much. If you have not subscribed to them Tom, I'd highly recommend it. They call themselves a magazine, but reality is, you're getting a soft cover book each issue.

Ok, I'll check it out.  Thanks John.

As a lifelong journalist, I’ve struggled to come to terms with newspapers and magazines. They must exist in order to promote...

It is a subscription rag in Europe and the UK, but it appears here in the US you gotta buy it like I did, buy the issue and when they are available. The UK sure has hit the hand craft stage running and on fire, I love what they are doing over there with Greenwoodworking and the likes.

Many years ago Mr Lee published a small magazine with very little to no ads. Think it lasted two years and my SIL got me all the issues . Was a pretty neat publication . I think the name was Woodcuts.

Ok just looked it up . They published 9 issues about 36 pages 92-93. In 2017 Vintage Magazines had issue #1 for sale for 199.95 . Say I could have a $900 windfall in the shop. By the way they had the best write up on doing dovetail joints I have ever read and I used it to do my first DT drawers.

Was in USMC and deployed at the time so I am gonna go with I missed out.  :)  But I would have liked a magazine without oh say 85% ads.
