January 10, 20215 yr I have not read the article yet, but I can guess what's in it, I will read it though. I have come to the opinion that finishing is so varied and conditional, that really, it's like telling someone how to hold a glass while drinking water from it, or perhaps, a better comparison, religion and politics, sometimes I feel that discussing finishes can be just as fruitless.
January 10, 20215 yr Author I think his point is there is a lot of "common knowledge" whether from other people, manufacturers, or names of products that is just plain wrong. Ever since his first book came out, he's been "myth busting" yet many persist, decades later.
