Why I think using spiral blades is bad

This is pendulum bobs I make for the clocks I build and like to use it instead of the round brass pendulum bob that come with the clock movements.. kinda like putting my own touches to a clock...The bobs have to be very light weight so the pieces of wood, 1/8" bb was used. What I am using here for a pattern is a drawer pull backing plate that is about 2 1/4" square. I cut the fancy outside out then cut an 1/8" piece for the bottom. to be glued together for a place to  add whatever pops in to my little brain. Glitter or things like the Methodist logo.   

Its hard to see the saw groove from the front so here is the back side only half cut out. And it depends on where the craft fair is being held, like next to a Methodist church, their logo is important...or since we live in TX its good to brag about where you live????? or not!

  The blade is a #2 Olson metal cutting blade. The #2 is .008 inches wide and compared to a spiral blade which might look like a super highway is being built.  But for my type of sawing the thinner the blade gap on all my projects the better I can make a project look....

For instance, all the carving was cut away from the large piece of maple wood and then after I carved and finished the  pieces were installed them back against the big hunk and there is no gap anywhere between pieces....

So I have a time trying to convince guys who have never run a scroll saw that not all types of sawing can be accomplished using spiral blades...

  My thought is a scroll saw is about the hardest machine to master in my shop and using spiral blades compared to regular scroll saw blades is completely different, totally...

  First, the most important results using a regular blade the edges sawn with a regular blade leaves the wood super smooth......I never have to sand the edges smooth. And I have been told by this one guy he is completely satisfied with the ruff edges, what?

  But maybe the most important thing is being able to control the blade.  I am simply saying what others have told me over the years that spiral blades will not give a person any experience for all a scroll saw was made for.
