Following the lines  is not all the important.

They will all fit back together like they should.

Then when you spray a little clear on the subject some of the colors will change anyway.

Or you can keep it flat sheen with spraying satin if anyone can still get clear flat lacquer..

 And Sherwin Williams might still stock the flattening agent one can add to any clear lacquer.

Once you cut out all the pieces put it all back in the frame then decide which pieces should be lowered... Then marking all the pieces on the back side take the pieces to be lowered to the band saw and it is important on cutting away the top sides of the pieces and throw them away...This way all the pieces will still fit each other like they should. 

   You now have a good start making the clown come to life. Now some of the clown needs to be lowered maybe even lower than what you did with the band saw...kinda like the three balloons for I thought they needed to be three different heights than the surroundings????

Hey guys the first time I made something like this turned out to be crap. The only thing I made in a long time was the sea shells that actually had me smiling.......and it started with a piece of paper being printed on a cheap printer and I had the printer make the size I wanted it to make then the scroll saw did the rest....There was nothing wa-la about grinding the shape on a piece of wood that the scroll saw did the shaping...I was just following a line with the saw.......all these different shapes were done with me holding the piece of wood against sand paper or carbide that had been sharpened to do the cutting...

 Another piece of the picture I was working on came from the air brush connected to an air compressor....and I will say it does take a little from my very small brain for it does tell me when and how much to keep the little button on the air brush pressed in and when to let go and rest my little finger...The color was water based paint so any amount of thinning was not that important for if it is mixed thick it don't take as much spraying as if it was thinned too much which might take ten times longer to get the same darkness from each color.

  And I compare my using rotary tools to do my carving for I don't have that much time left so I compare using carving knives to cut away wood equal to me going back to riding horses for my transportation. Maw taught me better than that!

Well, I don't know how this post got back out here amongst the current posts but this brings back a thought or two.....

First, there is no difference than me making something like the clown and someone sitting in front of a wood lathe all day making small chips of wood fly all over the shop. So I guess some of you thinks it takes no brains to operate a wood lathe???????

  The picture here in the left side of this post is of the mini golf course that me and my wife ONLY built this thing with nothing on paper to tell us where to do what, nothing. Our little brains maybe were working over time at different times cause we would enter in to the conversations ,what if , many times we were on that two or three acres of land we were trying to transform it into something grown people would want to bring their kids out to this place and put money in our pockets to entertain their young off spring and themselves also....Actually my wife was working at the hospital at being a great RN, plus the money kinda helped, so I decided I could work with out her for a few hours. But I was just reminded when she finally did get off work she had to come out to the go cart track and run the cash register till eleven each night till we closed for the day. Never once did I ever hear he complaining.

  Now after thinking about building the go cart track and the mini golf course plus all the other things we had to convince other folks to come out and donate money to enjoy themselves was just simply arranging thing that people would enjoy...that in my mind is not talent.  It took about the same amount of brain waves it might take for a person to go out, start the lawn mower and mow. his yard. He will keep going back and forth cutting the grass and weeds until he is satisfied with what he accomplished then put the mower away and go get a drink of water.

  I get the dumb reply all the time that it just takes a different kind of person to run a scroll saw. Sure does, and to run a table saw all it takes is for some one to be smart enough to know how to flip a switch and extra bright to know how to push a piece of wood against a fence with out getting their fingers cut off....

   Yes I am rich enough to own a 20 dollar printer and to know how to plug it in to the computer. And then way back yonder a daughter came to the house and down loaded Rapid Resizer in to my computer for it was free back then to do so... so now I hear its just too expensive to down load Rapid resizer...so all a person has to do is take a picture to a printer shop and they can make you a picture of what you want to paste on to a piece of wood any size you think you might need. Or I can bring a picture to the printer and it will make any size out of the piece of paper and it will store it in the computer for use later on.

  I often read here if I just had the plans I could make lots of things. A person won't have to file bankrupsie if he goes and buys a French Curve set, this is a set of curves made of plastic, nine dollars, and a booklet of pieces of paper called graph paper, 22 dollars, little squares all over a piece of paper... then wa la he can make his own plans.

  I am really sorry I can't get anyone interested enough. Too bad. Now if it were something real dangerous like driving while talking on the phone folks might decide to do it for there is more danger involved and folks donate their lives every minute somewhere and become dead way too often so I guess I am missing something in my thinking!!! and actually I am pissed for this act of stupitidy is making my insurance go out of sight.

 A side note, a relation just e-mailed us about the amount of rain they had been getting and that she was stopped and given a ticket for not wearing a life jacket.
