Don't know how widespread this is, but I was tracking a couple of hand planes on my "Drool list", both from Grizzly, both on Amazon.  About a week ago, the smaller (14") went "unavailable" at AMZ.  When I looked it up on the Grizzly site, they were offering it for about 30% less than previous (I'd compared prices both on Amazon and direct from Grz).  So I bought it.  Today, Amazon still lists the 22", but the Grizzly website has it for about 35% less than Amazon/prior.  

     Is it the Zombie Apocalypse?  Can you kill a zomb with a hand plane?  How many strokes?  Do you have to sharpen after every kill?

No idea. Yes. Usually 3 strokes depending on the depth the iron is set to. No, but you typically have to give it a good cleaning.

I generally wipe after each kill, don't want the blood to make a mess when I put it back.

True story.I came home one day from work and asked my son “Do you know how to zombie proof the house?”  He said no, I said “You put a bunch of treadmills around the house, on high speed”  He thought a minute and asked. “wouldn’t they have to run backwards?” My reply was “So that’s where you get hung up, huh? Zombies believable, treadmills running backwards unbelievable?” (Which by the way, they don’t have to run backwards for proper zombie protection)

You must not watch "The Walking Dead" (or one of the 6-7 iterations). Of course they don't bleed, but they are gooey and slimy.

Just go out and pick up a 1911. One shot to the head usually works. If not a 2nd shot hasn't failed me yet.

I have only seen The Walking Dead in passing but I do watch congress on c-span once in a while.

I think oyu may confusing "The Walking Dead" with the other show, "Schitt's Creek". On the other hand, maybe not!

If Walking Dead is about zombies (I don't have cable or whatever), then they're not interested.   I always heard zombies were after brains.
