October 13, 20205 yr Popular Post I've given up on DT joints for my Jennings bit box, switched to box joints instead. So after tuning my pins to the fit I wanted I went merrily along the way cutting the fingers. You can see my box isn't quite a rectangle. I grabbed the cutoff from the end piece instead of the workpiece and cut the fingers on it. Oh, well....back to the TS.
October 13, 20205 yr Popular Post now ma'am, this may look like a box that wasn't built quite right, but I assure you, it was built exactly to specification, carefully measured with the highest quality 3D dimensioning equipment, it went thru a 17 step QA process, and will serve your needs very well in the years to come. what's that, you say it has no lid nor bottom. au contraire, it most certainly does, but I used the finest quality faux wood for those parts, cut so thin (it's quite expensive, and you were on a budget) you can't even see them. but take care not to put your sharpened finger nails thru that wood, or you'll destroy it. take care, please come back soon!
