I'm sure someone will mention the glove, but that from me, would be the pot calling the kettle black.

Yea I know= Gloves usually equal BAD when it comes to HIGH speed rotating machinery how ever I manage to work safely enough with out it getting caught.

Until something happens!! Lyle Jamieson uses a glove but it is fingerless. So get a pair without fingers, I think in the workout gear.

I have watched many videos and heard many folks talk about not wearing a glove near rotating tools, but also, I have seen some professionals use them.  For me, I would not wear a glove, so I'll let that go.  One thing you can do when you get your blank nearly round or round, you can move up the speed to about 1000 rpms and it cuts better with traditional tools.
