August 9, 20205 yr one of the guys at the restore the other day mentioned that several of these had come in and he wasn't sure what they were. i had a slightly different guess, but his was closer. what is it?
August 10, 20205 yr Author Popular Post yup, that's it...window sash stay. screw it to the side of the sash - open window part way - flip lever to push out tab against window frame. Replaced by springs, cords, weights - you name it.
