One of our neighbors passed away about a month ago. His 8th heart attack got him. He was a veteran, a tank commander, chef, sheriff, Chicago cop and, most recently a rancher. And, a good friend to everyone around here. 

He was cremated, so there was no funeral...at his request. But, he was a VFW member. So, today, they provided a memorial service at their facility. This one was conducted very similar to a Military Funeral. 21 gun salute and all. It was extremely well done. 

Tim will be missed.
