June 6, 20206 yr On the front of the house there is a section of gutter that gets runoff from 3 directions and it frequently cannot handle it all. Like most of the time. I've cleaned out and it didn't help. I'm thinking it's just overloaded and I just need to replace it with something larger. It appears that there are only 5" and 6" "K-gutters." Is there anything anywhere that has more capacity than the 6" one? I don't think it's possible to have more than one downspout because of the configuration. Another solution?
June 6, 20206 yr Popular Post Commercial gutters? I have the K6 style on the house and shop with 3x4 downspouts. Other smaller buildings I used K5 with 2x3 downspouts. Living on hill I have mine routed through 4 inch PVC pipe a good distance away from the buildings. Takes alot of extra time and effort but worth getting rid of the water and not having issues. Commercial vs Residential Or Industrial gutters? These you typically find on large buildings. They handle a much larger capacity 6-10 inch that any commercial or residential gutter. Price as always is much higher. Here is a link to look over what is available. I was surprised at the many options. Didn't look at price. Industrial Gutters
June 7, 20206 yr I would check the down spout arrangement. Sometimes it's only a 2" (+/-) hole to let the water clear. So if that's the case the making the opening bigger ( or that dual downspout thing Dan shows) might solve the problem. Nice looking house, BTW. Edited June 7, 20206 yr by Fred W. Hargis Jr
