How to make tapered legs (on a planer)

Featured Replies

A friend of mine in the area wrote an article on this years ago.   I've used it several times and it works extremely well.   It appears to have been re-born on pinterest but I never have any luck following the thread off the first page.   This method uses some scrap 2x4 and a planer.  Though Keith Neer has two table saws with a 12x12 shared outfeed table, he likes to use the bandsaw for the rough-out.   I used a table saw and rip fence and it worked fine.
