May 12, 20206 yr Popular Post This was gifted to me today,...I've done several scrimshaw projects for the guy that made it and was actually picking up 2 more horns today to put in my line of "to do's". It's a walnut sandwich with some really nice curly maple for bread Tiger maple is my favorite wood of all time,...walnut is at least in my top 3. I love this thing,...and I'll use it in the shop. It's buttery smooth ....awaiting a good finish I'll get to shortly. At the moment I'm leaning toward no stain but may do one part or the other,...I'm gonna sleep on it a few days Thought I'd share,..I'm pretty proud of it.
