March 11, 20206 yr Popular Post comment_221258 With the weather warming up these past few days,, I had a chance to get back in the shop. Found plans I've had for some time and decided to make this jewelry box. Got everything cut and ready for assembly except for a bit of sanding. Wood is birdseye maple, maple and cherry. Report

At least 6 weeks, our Norway Spruce trees are already dumping rust colored pollen. Doesn't usually happen until about the end of April, early May. My allergies are killing me! Report

Using a 3/16" 10 tpi blade for cutting curves. Definitely a step up from the Craftsman. Much smoother and a bit quieter. The ceramic blade guides work great. The shop vac catches most of the dust but not all. The dust mask is catching a bit more than I expected. Report
