Hard to finish carving anything

I can't seem to get anything completely finished before I find something else I want to carve and I start on it so I want loose it and now lots of un finished things are sitting around waiting...

 

Like a couple of dragsters racing their engines waiting for the green light to come on......these two pieces have been sitting there for over a month now and I seem to be hearing them in my sleep.  Come on man!!. we can't get in to shape without your help. 

  And this one is a beauty on paper but haven't transferred it to the wood yet for I need to edge glue up more blanks for them.

 

I had a friend tell me the other day he just couldn't find anything to build any more. I told him I don't need a thing I build but it sure is fun trying to figure out how to do something I've no experience with....

  Wow and I just checked out what John Morris is up to and that's adding to his expertise with some sharp knives.  Reminds me when I was over at my cousins house when we were in grade school and my uncle would tell us to go out side and find some nice tree and just sit there for a while and watch it grow...…

  and I can see a comparison between carving with knives and watching trees grow.

Artie you didn't know I was a wrighter. Yep, I have a few of those hard copies with my name on them somewhere........Trouble was,,, when I would go do the book signing thingy there were too many good looking ladies wanting an autograph and hey my wife was somewhere around. And did you know she could have been a black belt champion but most of the time she just wore a dress...she has muscles on top of muscles.  I finally figured her out and one day I hid her can of spinach and that ended that....
