February 19, 20206 yr Its hard for me to discard anything that has seen its life play out... even the shrubs that out grew their areas. So when I, we, decided to remove these shrubs I wet the ground real good for a day or so and pulled them up with the tractor for one never knows how the root system had grown and how it would look later after being cleaned up and all the dirt removed... But this time I ended up cleaning up the middle areas of these two shrubs and made displays for these small items... A large Chinese privit (sp) and a crape myrtle which is hard to identify after I got through screwing around with it. I had just cut a very large limb off a pecan tree and sliced some flat area pieces from that so now I had all the things to make something? I also made a few tea pots with the rest of the saved shrubs but can't remember which wood went in to what pot..... So the next time your other half ask why don't you go build something in the big expensive building you paid for someone to build then stacked all those tools and equipment in there where a person can't even walk and your reply is honey you won't let me spend more money on some wood to build with......then go out side and dig up a shrub or tree and get after it...….so now your lame answer is we rent this place and the land lord would not allow that....bad excuse for there are always reply's for that kind of excuse...sir that tree died so I was saving you the expense of having someone come and pay them to take up that tree!!! Seems like I like red things! Edited February 19, 20206 yr by Smallpatch
