February 18, 20206 yr Popular Post The last two weeks have been challenging at best. Among the tasks was hanging new drapes in the media room. My wife ordered what appeared to be fairly robust supports and rods which after installation turned out to be totally inadequate. It took so many support brackets to hold up the rods that it would have been impossible to move the drapes from side to side. Without the brackets the rods were too flimsy and sagged. The solution was to make our own support brackets out of black walnut which is what the rest of the room is being constructed of and for rods I used two 8’ heavy walled brass closet rods which are heavy but never going to sag. Now it’s back to the liquor cabinet. Paul
February 18, 20206 yr Popular Post Looks like you figured it out. Was at my licquor cabinet this morning. Cleaning and putting things up. No fun putting bottles up, rather take them out..... So your working on a liquor cabinet or just working on pulling bottles out? Edited February 18, 20206 yr by BillyJack
February 18, 20206 yr I went this route as well. Much easier and you know it will hold up a long time. Gave a house flipper friend a ton if old curtain rods.
