I don’t know how to post a video I saw on YouTube. I’m hoping someone here can find this and post it here, Grandpa Amu builds a wooden bridge

And not a nail anywhere. I have a problem making dovetails on flat boards using power tools, and he makes them in logs using a chisel. Just the planning for this project is amazing, let alone the craftsmanship that went into it. Astounding talents.

I was gonna write something about the video, but Al has put it way better than I ever could, so I’m just gonna +1 it LOL.

+1 to Artie's  +1. Amazing talent.

Way beyond my ability, as someone else said even with power tools and the ketchup thingy on the computer I could never dream that up.  :D

I was fascinated , no tape measure and all the dovetails were placed exactly right. Love to use sliding dovetails.

Wait to you see the bench he built......

+1 to the other +1s:TwoThumbsUp:

Thanks for posting. I like the way he held the bridge planks in place with the bottom rail of the railing.

Thanks for the video. I'm a bridge guy. I now have 9 on my property.
