I've never seen a glue up, turning like this before

Nifty turning.

That turned out better than I thought. I have seen some wonderful things from ply but that is too time consuming .

I have never turned plywood. I would think you would get bad tear out. Does that not happen?

Wondered the same myself.  And also what kind of plywood.  We talking cheap BC sheathing or something like Baltic Birch?  Just for an experiment I am going to look through what scraps of BC I have and glue it up.

His title mentions "Tri Ply". It's underlayment.

True but that is some decent filler for underlayment. I bet I get some and have alot more voids.:D

Never used it but, HD stocks it. 4' X 4' X 50 mm for about $13.

I got a load of China plywood. I would be scared to try it.
