Popular Post Smallpatch Posted January 2, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted January 2, 2020 Still got a long ways to go. This is actually fun and did I say I sit down while doing this... This ain't horse shoes so I guess this will be close enough to the picture. But wait, I still got the detailing to do. It hurts my head to even think about it. Have you gotten rid of the camper Jess? Good idea from Bob, that would be a good bunch of space to fill up for sure. A mighty fine start on this latest clock, shaping up nicely. Popular Post Smallpatch Posted January 2, 2020 Author Popular Post Report Posted January 2, 2020 Hey guys that camper was sitting in the middle of a 30 x 62 foot building I call my shop. Every wall is completely covered with shelves all the way to the roof.... the camper sat right in the middle of it all..The area I work mostly in is a 30 x 20 insulated with refrigerated air and good heat. All my equipment goes all the way around the camper and some sitting out side at the end and the side also...Camper was always dusty but 19 years after we bought it the paint was still looking new and that was what sold the people who bought it. A few partitions that are also covered on both sides with shelves also.. And the very last thing I bought at an auction, and in good conditon or use to be when I sat it there is a big wood shaper. right beside the garage door...Been rained on for about 4 years now so the shine is gone... Part of my 20 x 30 work area I let her work in, she out grew that so I walled off an area 10 x 20 foot part of the big area close to the camper for her shop... Then when she out grew that real quick. we bought a 53 foot semi trailer that had refergerated air which meant it was lined with thick foam inside the walls , floor and ceiling and after I put a frame down they took the wheels back to the company I bought it from and this is where she is in right now.. Her old area inside the 30 x 62' turned in to a wood working equipment room I store things from auctions and what ever.... these extra 7 Dewalt 788's take up a large area here and there . If you can name it, I think I got it somewhere.. The big air compressors on two wheels that run jack hammers I got and also the jack hammer, I got. The big welder on wheels, I got.. The concrete pump that shoots wet concrete on swimming pools walls I got. There is three wood lathes out here somewhere.. My wife made a request after we bought the camper she requested we sell the lake property and home and live in the camper and travel for the rest of our lives................ WOW. I always said she has 50 percent of how we live and make decisions on how we run our lives but this request got voted down real quick...... There is no where for all my wood stuff to tag along but hey I did take a basement full of wood working stuff for the three months in Colo each summer and she also took her stained glass stuff. Now what was the suggestions ? p_toad, Artie, Al B and 2 others 5 Quote
Artie Posted January 2, 2020 Report Posted January 2, 2020 You are making me go to night school! I’ve got to learn other ways of saying beautiful work, so I don’t keep repeating myself when I see your work. DuckSoup, Al B and FlGatorwood 3 Quote
