December 19, 20196 yr I have a wood burning tool and they are no longer in business (detail Master) is their name. I would like to give a wood burner to someone. Anybody have any ideas? Are there any wood burning sites or clubs that are recommended? Thanks, Preston
December 19, 20196 yr Author I think I made a mistake. I meant to say my neighbor that I was giving the wood burner to my neighbor. SORRY Preston Edited December 19, 20196 yr by steamshovel Forgot-my neighbor

March 1, 20206 yr Sure thing... I used a Variac transformer to control my heat. I used a carbon arc torch for my pen. And I used a wire stripper transformer for my power supply. It's fast and strong. No waiting around for things getting hot. I've done a lot with this unit and I'm real happy with it. I also make my own Nichrome resistance wire tip for the pen.

They are supposed to work very well and are made from easily accessed parts. http://www.woodturnersresource.com/extras/projects/priddle/WoodBurner.html
