Stay Safe!!

As the holidays approach, everyone is vying for your time.  Just a reminder to stay safe and don't take any shortcuts!

 

Moving electrial out of the joists so that it I can fix them as they have sagged due to the weight on them.  To support the joists I have a lot of posts in the shop so basically I am planting steel trees in my shop.

 

 

Monday 

Dang I misplaced a whole weekend somewhere. 

Busy day ahead. Gotta get a haircut. That's two hours gone. Then, gather, stack and, burn the tumble weeds that the winds gifted us. Finally, I MIGHT get back to the box I'm trading for an abstract painting. Later, there might be time to play with the Rapid Resizer Jesse recommended. That is my reward for the day. 

Been labeling every drawer in the shop. A task but will be helpful in future. Have a group of small projects for house, shop or yard. Nothing fancy but still needed.

 

 

Such as a holder for my Ryobi hedge trimmer.

 

Major, wife induced, schedule change! "Lets do the tumble weeds NOW". Took us a couple hours. Got 10 huge piles but, they're too wet to burn. Approx. 8500' of perimeter fence traps a LOT of tumble weeds. Few of which grew on our property. 

Now, it's time for another shower and, off to the barber. SYL.

Worked a craft show on Saturday and barely got booth rent. Have a two day short event and an all day Saturday now to sort out for. Now on to making Christmas.

Up date: ears are somewhat lower. Box progress executed. Nap time caused me to forget to open Rapid Resizer. Tumbleweed piles probably still too wet but, Phyl wants to try, anyway. Patience ain't one of her virtues.

I have my usual busy week going on, trying to bring this kitchen project to a close "this year"...

Monday the appliances were delivered, Wednesday (today) the countertops are being installed, Thursday the plumber is supposed to come and hook up sink, drains and dishwasher - and Friday SWMBO will get home to inspect everything  If everything is a go, contact the tile installer to see when the backsplash might get done.

And in between, I have a wedding mirror and frame ready for finish today and three more picture frames to make and finish as well as some year end computer work to get done; and sometime in the next week-10 days I need to get out and look for a couple Christmas gifts?  And taxes... our annual property taxes are due in the next little bit
