    Can't be a platonic solid, though, so it would be complicated to do.

      When I looked at this I seen 6 triangles glued as a group and if you join 3 groups together it would leave an open space for one triangle. Using your link Tetrahedron appears to be what makes up the inside. Now to figure out a jig to cut or sand the 3 sides of each piece. Curiosity is aroused.
