Had a friend come over to install a new magnetic paddle switch on his TS.  Needed a connector end, which was in a box I left in the back storage building.  We go out and are talking and he sees this box I made few years back to go inbetween shelves I had.  OMG he has to have it, it's Snap On he says.  No I point out and open the drawer showing him it is indeed made of wood.  Wants it anyway and offers me $100, nice crisp bill.  

 

Yeah I sold it, been eyeballing a extension for my Rikon lathe.  Might have to make a trip to Highland Woodworking in Atlanta this weekend and pick one up.

Now you will have to make another to replace the inventory.  It was a nice box.

True, an upgrade if you will.  This one will have mechanical drawer slides.  Got 2 dozen pair of 18 inch ball bearing slides on a trade for 30 European sets of slides.  The woman said she likes them better than the "ugly metal ones".  

 

Snap on emblem, I have more.....   Might use this Lexus emblem I came across last week.  I mean that is a rare breed, a Lexus Tool box.  Might get another $100 for that gem.   

I thought $100 was on the low side.

3 drawer box only 18 inch deep.  The Snap On emblem cost more than I had in it to make it.
