The current rage is "corn hole game"  but I remember my parents had a game they called "washer board" that was a cross between it and horseshoes.   Here is a plan for making a set.

  Keith, when the steel mills had down time during a change over the guys would take two scrap pieces of 4" pipe and place them 20' apart and pitch 3" washers into them.

Remember when Birdseye concentrated juices came in steel cans? Sunk in the ground, they made great washer targets.

It's amazing what I learn each day.  And, tomorrow, it may be new again.
