Popular Post Smallpatch
She did this all by her little lonesome.. I don't know if they are fake or real? She has this St. Augustine grass doing well in the shade. Not completely but getting there...….. I notice she left the reflectors on her 53 foot refer semi trailer stained glass parlor shop thingy.. Gene Howe
Nice job on that walkway. Need those reflectors so you won't hit it when you mow at night. Cal, Artie, Gunny and 1 other

Popular Post Smallpatch
Artie I got to show you this note thingy she attached to the front of the fridge some time ago. She does take me by the arm and walks me over to it real often and reminds me these statements or request I should make my little brain remember... It would probably make all households run a little smoother if we had one on our fridges and actually use it to run our lives,,, don't you think?? She has suggested some of my faults and she will only give me a few more years to try and change my ways. We got married in 1961 so some of those request I know have been on her mind for about that long... How about you Artie, do you think any of those numbers fits anyone out there? Popular Post Artie
My very deep philosophy on life is “Happy Wife, Happy Life” We’ve only been married for 16 years, but that philosophy has worked for me so far. Some times I do throw one too many ‘Yes Dear” into the conversation (She really doesn’t like that LOL). FlGatorwood
Does she hire out? I need a brick driveway laid. I have the bricks, but have not had the time. Great work. That grass will fill in. I have it and it needs mowing at least once a week here. Especially, if it gets rain. You could use goats. Popular Post Smallpatch
Goats are fine but their height adjustment makes me shy away from using them!! FlGatorwood, Artie, Cal and 2 others

Smallpatch
Dan this might be why she is getting operated on too often for her hands and wrist and arms can't take it anymore like she remembers she use to do things!! She already told me she would not end up sitting in a chair all day. And this is either good or bad????? Hey our electricity was off before dark last night till about 7 this morning.......It don't seem like we are that close to the action on the east coast. They figured you'd be sleeping and wouldn't notice that they shipped your electric out east where it is needed. FlGatorwood
It could be that the grid where you were receiving electricity was somehow connected to a grid on the east coast. It doesn't seem logical. And, again, they may have saved fuel to ship to the storm hit areas. The last thing is that the person responsible was having a good night with other objects in mind. Around here, they will switch grids and the electricity will be off from 5 minutes to 5 hours. It really screws up electronics. My fancy kitchen stove clicks so loudly, the microwave beeps a few times, the refrigerator is like turning on the TV. It goes through a boot up phase before starting the compressor. I guess that's a good thing. But in the summer, it sure make's sleeping hot or in the winter, you can get cold very fast. Popular Post Cal
Hey Jess, surprise the Mrs. by taking out one of those pavers - or one on each end - or just do two and replace them - and carve her initials and date in them... Just a quick cheap little something that might score you a few points maybe? The kids would have been 15 and 12 when they helped me with the first walkway. James actually laid most all the bricks while I was cutting the smaller pieces and Elizabeth came back and swept sand in between the bricks. They were both happy to see credit given... Popular Post Smallpatch
Thanks a millllllion Cal for the pictures and the special engraving makes the whole world smile..... I happen to notice the other day I had scratched a date in the wet concrete terrace I had finished that day. Lots of important memories for your kids and the happy parents getting all that help.....
