We have a wonderful friend that has a house in the mountains above Gatlinburg and has been gracious enough to share it with us at times. I am making a new sign to hang out by the road at the drive with the name of the house, a bear and the house number. 

 

I had had a nice piece of sycamore that was thick enough to mill out the sign on both sides. I’ve got all the CNC work finished, just need to do some sanding and a little staging and then a good clear coat. 

 

 

The sign is 20x20” 

 

 

The bear was downloaded from the Vectric’s site. 

 

 

Looking forward to getting this finishes so we can make another trip up there for a weekend to hang it. 

 

There are several Bears that hang out at the house and like to visit the deck. 

 

 

And one one just likes to relax. 

 

 

A nice ice peaceful place to visit and can’t wait to run back up and put this neat sign up. Hope the bears like it!

That slab has a nice pattern right below the bear engraving, looks beautiful.

Does one go out on the deck when the guests are there? And you ignore them and they ignore you? Or does one decide to use a different part of the house to relax when the guests are present? Beautiful piece of work.

One chooses another part of the house to relax in. They have come up on the deck and surprised they owners a time or two. A quick dash into the house.
