August 31, 20196 yr Just a couple years ago on two occasions I consider myself to have got lucky and stumbled on a couple old Black and Decker classics in fantastic condition, that look as if they have not seen much use at all, and at prices hard to pass up. One of them is a 2720 Industrial 8 amp router with owners manual. The other is a 7620 Commercial 5.5 amp, with a case, two wrenches, a edge guide, and owners manual. Generally people probably don't get too excited about Black and Decker, but as far as I know DeWalt started out as B&D's Industrial line. Edited August 31, 20196 yr by CharlieL
August 31, 20196 yr My goodness, haven't seen that in awhile, my dad gave me his back in the late 80's, still have it too. Those are really good routers. Nice find Charlie.
September 5, 20196 yr unfortunately, B&D dropped their commercial tools when they purchased DeWalt, but i've got one of their saws and drills from back then and they are really good tools (as were their top shelf saw blades). you got yourself a couple of nice ones there.
March 3, 20205 yr I got a Commercial Black and Decker drill out of the junkyard years ago. It's got a date on it as 1917. Still works great. Check out my old router...
